(photo taken by Eufaula Tribune The late Mary Dozier Thomas was an inspiration to many here at the Center, especially to Audrey & Ned Wilson & everyone that joined together to dedicate a tree in her memory on January 4th. Ms. Thomas had been a member of our facility for the past ten years and as far as we know, was our oldest member at the age of 95 when she passed away. Audrey Wilson & friends donated a granite marker reading, "A Faithful Member" to share a spot alongside a tree donated by the Horticulture Department at the southeast corner of the Community Center. Those present at the ceremony shared memories & had a few laughs as they remembered Ms. Thomas.
